Season two of ‘Toluna’s Gutsiest Brands’ now available for listening

The leading marketing and insights podcast is now brought to you by Toluna after GutCheck was acquired by Toluna in late 2022

NORWALK, Conn., September 7, 2023 – Toluna, the leading global insights technology and panel provider, today announced the launch of season two of Toluna’s Gutsiest Brands, the marketing and insights podcast that celebrates brands who choose human-first innovation and marketing strategies.

After a successful first season that featured compelling interviews with leaders from more than 20 companies across multiple industries, season two promises ‘more guts and more brands’ as we go deep inside the stories of more human-centric brands.

What makes a ‘Gutsy’ brand or leader? Above all else, they display four key characteristics:

  • Lead with Empathy: They seek deeper understanding and connection with people
  • Demonstrate a Pioneering Spirit: They identify new problems to be solved and refuse to be limited by ‘what is’
  • Stand Behind Bold Ideas: They make courageous decisions and aren’t afraid to ride them out
  • Seize opportunities where others see tradeoffs: They embody a ‘yes, and…’ mentality instead of ‘yes, but…’

The Gutsiest Brands podcast was created by North America-based GutCheck to celebrate and honor the brands and leaders who embody these characteristics, and to provide a platform for them to tell their stories and for others to learn from them. The podcast enters season two with a new name, Toluna’s Gutsiest Brands, after GutCheck was acquired by Toluna in late 2022.

Scott Axcell, Head of Marketing for Toluna in North America, noted, “In our first season, we had the pleasure of interviewing incredible guests from many different backgrounds and industries who demonstrated that the four pillars of ‘gutsiness’ we had identified are largely universal driving forces behind brands’ success stories. With an outstanding guest list for season two, listeners will discover more high-quality examples that explore why companies who go the extra mile to understand people on deeper, more empathetic levels—and then boldly act on those insights—are the ones that develop brand love, loyalty, and longevity.”

The podcast is available on Amazon Music, Apple, Audible, Google, Spotify, Stitcher, and wherever else you consume your podcasts. To tune into past episodes, to learn more about the podcast, or even nominate a ‘Gutsy’ guest of your own, please visit https://tolunacorporate.com/gutsiest-brands/.
