To achieve point 1 of our ESG strategy, we are dedicated to significantly reducing our carbon emissions as part of our climate action strategy. By implementing sustainable practices and adopting renewable energy sources where feasible, we strive to lessen our environmental impact and contribute positively to global efforts in combating climate change.
As part of the strategy and commitment, we have internally estimated our carbon footprint for FY24 to be ~2,200mtCO2e (metric tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent). Thanks to our efforts to reduce our footprint, this is down 20% from our estimated FY23 footprint of 2,800mtCO2e. In FY25, we are targeting a further 6% reduction to 2,100mtCO2e.
NB: Toluna has no Scope 1 emissions (emissions from sources we own or control), all our emissions are in Scope 2 (indirect emissions from electricity, heating & cooling) and Scope 3 (indirect emissions from upstream & downstream operations, e.g., travel).

ESOMAR Foundation Believes that a fair and peaceful society is deserved by all and recognizes the immense promise that the research community offers to those striving to achieve these goals on a global level. The organization brings volunteers and resources together to execute projects and provide financial support to help and support charities and NGOs to achieve their aims.
Women In Research (WIRe) champions diversity in the marketing research industry by arming women with the tools to develop professionally, build connections and stay inspired. They believe in the positive impact of women in business with the mission to advance the contributions and voice of women in research, both for themselves and for the greater good of the industry.
